Hi everyone, Pierre-Loic, from Traackr here and this is the Fast Traack - the show where marketing change agents discuss the transformation of their marketing practice.

Though I have worked in influencer marketing from the start, I have to say right now is probably the most exciting time I’ve lived through in this industry. Influencer marketing has grown in importance to become the cornerstone of every major company’s marketing strategy. It has also expanded in-depth both up-funnel to support purpose-driven campaigns and down-funnel towards commerce. 

Social commerce, or the meeting of eCommerce and the creator economy is rapidly gaining traction. I wanted to investigate how brands should be thinking about the role of influencers in driving sales, and how these new conversion points fit within the overall commerce mix.
